Beverley Keefe has more than 16 years of non-profit communications, fundraising, and management experience. She has a keen eye for detail, a passion for engaging supporters, and specializes in assisting socially responsible organizations (both non-profit and for-profit) in building and expanding their reach through online media.

She has overseen many progams but specializes in the small projects out there, helping clients with little-to-no experience in digital communications and online fundraising build a foundation in online advocacy and marketing that will generate buzz, produce results, and deepen their mission-driven activities.

Using the web to raise dollars and awareness, and showing you how to expand the reach of your organization, is her raison d’etre.

She began her career as a communications officer with the United Farm Workers, and served on the production team of the Prairie Dog – Regina Saskatchewan’s first alternative newspaper. She was also a public relations coordinator and event manager for the International Development Education and Resource Association (IDERA) in Vancouver where she produced film festivals and community media events designed to bring the work of international filmmakers straight to the grassroots.

Most recently, she led the fundraising team at SAJE in Los Angeles. In addition to managing their annual fundraising program, she transformed SAJE’s annual fundraising event, a bowlathon, from a small event grossing $3,000 in year one, to a one-day grassroots extravaganza that grossed more than $50,000 and engaged more than 600 people in year four, all through the practical application of digital tools.

Beverley is a proud Echo Park resident, avid yogi, community gardener, permaculture enthusiast, vegetarian chef, photographer, and amateur chocolatier.
